DESCRIPTION

Crosby G209 Screw Pin Anchor Shackles are perfect for pick and place applications and have the highest design factor (6 to 1) in the industry. The Working Load Limit and grade “6” are permanently shown on every shackle. Bows for Crosby carbon steel shackles are closed die forged, providing clear “raised” lettering as well as an increased cross section that, when coupled with Crosby’s perfected quench and tempered process, enhances overall performance by maximizing ductility, toughness, impact and fatigue properties. Pins are alloy. Crosby G209 carbon screw pin shackles meet or exceed all requirements of ASME B30.26, as well as meet the performance requirements of Federal Specification RR-C-271F Type IVA, Grade A, Class 2, except for those provisions required of the contractor. Crosby G209 shackles are hot dip galvanized, approved for use at -40° C (-40° F) to 204° C (400° F), and are fatigue rated to 20,000 cycles at 1-1/2 times the Working Load Limit. Crosby shackles incorporate two QUIC-CHECK® marks forged into the shackle bow at 45° angles from vertical. These marks can be used to quickly check the approximate angle of a two-legged hitch or check the angle of a single leg hitch if the load is not inline, requiring a reduction in the working load limit. Made in the USA.
