In 2017, KMEC was acquired by Purvis Industries to supplement our offering of bulk material handling components and sub-systems. KMEC can provide turnkey start to finish installations for virtually any bulk material handling project.
The process starts with our design engineers in Houston, TX. There, our licensed structural and civil engineers design a conveyor system to your throughput specifications. We work with you to overcome terrain obstacles or other design challenges. We can handle virtually any length of conveyor, with multiple inclines or transfer points. We have even done a horizontal curve conveyor 12 miles long with 11 curves - on a single continuous conveyor belt!

We manufacture a wide range of bulk material handling installations, such as conveyors for overland or floating applications, as well as ship and barge loaders and unloaders. We also design and build radial stackers in addition to telestackers. Finally, we manufacture standard conveyors such as belt conveyors, drag conveyors, screw conveyors, and bucket elevators.
